TRUTH DROP

Let me shoot you straight. I’ve been MIA on this list, and I don’t love that. But I won’t insult you with a polished excuse. Here’s the truth: I’ve had my hands in too many pies. Ayahuasca retreats, podcast, personal brand, AI company, and a personal life that isn’t exactly neat and tidy.

And while all of it is mission-aligned, not all of it is sustainable. The podcast hasn’t grown like I know it could. This newsletter’s been quiet. And it’s not because I don’t care. It’s because I’m at capacity, and I don’t have the funds to hire someone who could do it right.

I’ve been talking to 30-40 vets a week, giving away my time freely because I fucking care. But that kind of heart-forward service doesn’t leave a lot of bandwidth or money in the tank. That’s been heavy. And that’s why I’m writing you now.

BUILD LOG

I didn’t build a single new system this week. But I did lay the groundwork for sanity: batching and scheduling enough podcast episodes to last until I get back from Peru in August. I want to completely unplug while I’m in the jungle. And for that to happen, I had to work ahead like a madman. The machine will keep running even when I’m offline.

Sometimes the most powerful build is getting out of the grind before it buries you.

TOOL OR QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Got lit up in a mastermind this week. The message was simple and brutal:
​“You’re a fool for giving it all away for free.”

Every person in that room runs a profitable, values-aligned business. And they were unanimous. What I’m offering is high-ticket, high-impact shit. Not just the ayahuasca work. Not just the podcast. The way I think is valuable.

And the punchline? I’ve been giving it away to anyone who DMs me. That ends now.
