🎯 Real Talk Moment:
Do you know what hit me this week? During a meeting with Jill Mari Embry, she pointed out some blind spots in my approach to helping veterans through transition. One of those humbling moments reminded me why continuous learning is crucial. Sometimes, we're so focused on building the solution that we might miss important pieces of the problem.
💡 What's Working:
I had a coaching session that reminded me why this matters—watching my client take massive action toward doing what makes him happy. It's one thing to talk about transition; it's another to witness someone transforming their life.
🎙️ Behind the Scenes:
This week showed me something interesting—we're all so focused on building our missions that holidays like Thanksgiving almost sneak up on us. We had a few podcast recordings rescheduled because we collectively forgot about Turkey Day! But maybe that's part of the entrepreneurship journey—learning to balance the mission with life's rhythms.
The highlight was recording with Otis McGregor for The Strategic Veteran podcast. The conversation reinforced why we do this work—every story shared is another veteran finding their path.
